Welcome

Lidl is promoting a new discount foodstore at Holyhead Road, Coventry.

Lidl will be submitting a planning application to Coventry City Council for the construction of a new Lidl foodstore at Holyhead Road in Coventry. Lidl currently trades from three stores in Coventry, which will remain, with the proposed store primarily serving the western part of the city. The foodstore is in a convenient location just off the Holyhead Road and easily accessible by car and public transport.

The foodstore will be built to Lidl’s latest specification. It will be a modern building incorporating high quality materials and energy efficient building management systems. The store has been designed to be carbon neutral.

The planning application is subject to a 13-week determination period and we expect to receive a decision on the application during Summer/ Autumn 2021.

As part of our ongoing commitment to public consultation, we have designed this website to give the local community an overview of our exciting development proposals. This website provides direct links to the proposed plans.
